Historical Figures
Former Owner
Billionaire businessman and racehorse owner Trevor Hemmings was the majority shareholder of Preston North End from 2010 until his passing in October 2021. A lifelong Preston fan, Hemmings provided stable ownership and financial backing during a turbulent period for the club. His estate continued to hold the club until the formal transfer to his son Craig.
Former Majority Shareholder
The Baxi Partnership, a Preston-based heating manufacturer, were majority shareholders during the period that saw Preston return to the second tier under David Moyes. Their investment was emblematic of the local, community-rooted ownership model that has characterised much of the club's modern history.
