Exeter City Football Club

The Exeter City Supporters' Trust is a democratic, non-profit organisation that has held the majority shareholding of Exeter City FC since 2003. Originally formed in 2000, the Trust acquired control when the club was in financial distress and facing relegation from the Football League. With over 6,000 members, the Trust elects representatives to the club's board and has been consistently ranked at the top of the Fan Engagement Index. The Trust model — community-owned but professionally run — is widely regarded as a benchmark for sustainable fan ownership in English football.
