Owner & Chairman
Joe Mansueto, founder and chairman of Morningstar, Inc., became the majority owner of the Chicago Fire in 2019 after initially purchasing a 49% stake in 2018. He has invested heavily in the club's infrastructure and moved the team back to Soldier Field in downtown Chicago. Mansueto's long-term vision includes a new soccer-specific stadium.

Andrew Hauptman, an investment firm executive, owned the Chicago Fire for over a decade. His tenure was marked by inconsistent results on the field and declining attendance. Hauptman sold his majority stake to Joe Mansueto in 2019.
