John Ingram, chairman of Ingram Industries and son of billionaire businessman E. Bronson Ingram, led the ownership group that secured Nashville's MLS expansion franchise in 2017. Nashville SC began play in 2020, and Ingram oversaw the construction of Geodis Park, the largest soccer-specific stadium in the United States with over 30,000 seats.
