Robert Kraft, the billionaire CEO of the Kraft Group and owner of the NFL's New England Patriots, has been the sole owner of the New England Revolution since the league's founding in 1996. Despite the club's five MLS Cup runner-up finishes, Kraft has remained committed to MLS and was instrumental in the league's survival during its early financial struggles.
