Current Leadership
Owner & Chairwoman
Carolyn Kindle Betz, a member of the Enterprise Rent-A-Car founding Taylor family, led the ownership group that secured St. Louis's MLS expansion franchise in 2019. She oversaw the construction of CityPark, a stunning 22,500-seat stadium in downtown St. Louis that opened for the club's inaugural 2023 season. Kindle Betz is the first woman to serve as the lead owner of an MLS expansion franchise.
Principal Investors
The Taylor family, founders of Enterprise Holdings (parent of Enterprise Rent-A-Car), forms the financial backbone of the St. Louis City SC ownership group. Their deep St. Louis roots and extensive business network have been key to the franchise's community integration.

The MLS2STL campaign rallied civic and corporate support to bring MLS to St. Louis. After an initial bid fell short in 2017 due to stadium financing issues, the Kindle Betz-led group regrouped with private funding and won the franchise in 2019.
