Historical Figures
Original USL Owners
The modern Whitecaps were revived in the 1980s after the original NASL franchise folded, initially competing in the Canadian Soccer League and later the USL. Various local ownership groups kept professional soccer alive in Vancouver during these years, building the foundation for the eventual MLS expansion.
