Vincent Viola, a West Point graduate, U.S. Army veteran, and billionaire who founded the electronic trading firm Virtu Financial, purchased the Florida Panthers in 2013. He was briefly nominated as Secretary of the Army by President Trump in 2017 but withdrew. Under his ownership the Panthers underwent a dramatic transformation, culminating in back-to-back Stanley Cup Final appearances in 2023 and 2024, winning the franchise's first championship in 2024.

Douglas Cifu

Alternate Governor & Vice Chairman

Douglas Cifu, CEO of Virtu Financial and longtime business partner of Vincent Viola, serves as the Panthers' alternate governor and has played an active role in the franchise's business operations. He has been instrumental in transforming the Panthers into a premier South Florida sports brand.
