Herb Fritch, a former healthcare executive and longtime minority owner of the Predators, became the team's majority owner and governor in 2023 after purchasing additional shares. Fritch had been part of the ownership group for years and stepped into the primary role to provide stability and continuity for the franchise.
Co-Founder & Chairman Emeritus
Tom Cigarran was one of the founding partners who brought NHL hockey to Nashville as an expansion franchise in 1998. A prominent Nashville healthcare entrepreneur, he served as chairman and was instrumental in building the Predators into a viable franchise in a non-traditional hockey market.

Former Owner
Craig Leipold was the founding majority owner of the Nashville Predators, purchasing the expansion franchise in 1997. He guided the team through its formative years and built a loyal fan base before selling the team in 2007, after which he went on to purchase the Minnesota Wild.
