David Bonderman, co-founder of the private equity firm TPG Capital and one of the wealthiest men in the world, led the ownership group that was awarded the NHL's 32nd franchise in 2018. He committed over $600 million in expansion fees and helped develop Climate Pledge Arena, a state-of-the-art venue built beneath the historic roof of the former KeyArena. The Kraken began play in the 2021-22 season and reached the second round of the playoffs in just their second year of existence.

Jerry Bruckheimer

Co-Owner & Alternate Governor

Jerry Bruckheimer, the legendary Hollywood producer behind franchises like Pirates of the Caribbean and Top Gun, is a co-owner of the Seattle Kraken. His star power and entertainment industry expertise have been valuable assets in marketing the Kraken to Seattle's sports fans and building the franchise's brand identity.
