Vegas leads the Pacific Division with 76 points through 67 games, narrowly ahead of Anaheim and Edmonton. Projections have the Golden Knights finishing with 95.7 points, but the division race could come down to the final day of the regular season on April 16.
The Golden Knights acquired Rasmus Andersson from Calgary in January for a first-round pick, a second-rounder, prospect Abram Wiebe, and Zach Whitecloud. It's the kind of move that signals Vegas is all-in on a deep playoff run and isn't afraid to pay the price in draft capital.
With the Andersson addition and veteran Nic Dowd acquired from Washington, Vegas has one of the deepest rosters in hockey. The Golden Knights' 2023 Cup feels like it was just the beginning for a franchise that refuses to rebuild and always plays to win now.
