Angel City FC

Willow Bay, Dean of the USC Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism, became the controlling owner of Angel City FC alongside husband Bob Iger in a landmark 2024 transaction that valued the club at $250 million — the highest valuation ever for a women's professional sports team. Bay has full control of the ACFC Board of Directors and represents the club on the NWSL Board of Governors.

Bob Iger, CEO of The Walt Disney Company, joined wife Willow Bay as co-owner of Angel City FC in 2024. The couple's acquisition included a $50 million capital injection to fuel the club's growth and long-term competitiveness in the NWSL.

Academy Award–winning actress Natalie Portman was the public face of Angel City FC's founding ownership group, which launched the club in 2020 with a majority-female investor coalition. She remains part of the ownership group following the 2024 controlling-stake sale to Willow Bay and Bob Iger.

Venture capitalist Kara Nortman co-founded Angel City FC and served as a key figure in its early operations and fundraising. She helped assemble one of the most high-profile ownership groups in women's sports history.

Tech entrepreneur Julie Uhrman co-founded Angel City FC and has served as the club's president since its inception, overseeing day-to-day operations and building the organization into one of the NWSL's most commercially successful franchises.
