Ted Segal acquired majority ownership of the Houston Dash in 2021 as part of his purchase of the Houston Dynamo FC group. As of early 2026, Segal has relaunched a formal sale process for the Dash after a previous deal with RHC Partners at a $120 million valuation fell through during NWSL league-office due diligence.
