Rancho Cucamonga Quakes
Three-time California League champions and an Inland Empire institution since 1993, the Rancho Cucamonga Quakes begin a new era in 2026 as the Single-A affiliate of the Los Angeles Angels after 15 years with the Dodgers.
The Rancho Cucamonga Quakes are the Single-A affiliate of the Los Angeles Angels, playing in the California League at LoanMart Field in Rancho Cucamonga, California. The franchise relocated from San Bernardino in 1993 and adopted its earthquake-themed identity in a nod to the Inland Empire's seismic geology, quickly becoming one of the Cal League's most popular and successful teams.
The Quakes have won three California League championships (1994, 2015, 2018), with the 2018 title capping a franchise-best 87-53 season that featured 841 runs scored and 202 home runs. Over 60 Quakes alumni have gone on to play in the major leagues, including Mike Trout, Corey Seager, and Cody Bellinger, making LoanMart Field one of the most productive prospect pipelines in minor league baseball.
The 2026 season brings significant changes: Diamond Baseball Holdings acquired the franchise in December 2024, ending the Brett Sports & Entertainment ownership era, and the Los Angeles Angels returned as the parent club after a 15-year absence. The Angels-Quakes partnership carries historical resonance, as the two organizations were previously affiliated from 2001 to 2010, a period that included Trout's professional debut.
Under veteran manager Dave Stapleton, who brings 479 career managerial wins and extensive Angels organizational experience, the Quakes enter their new chapter with the same community-first approach that has sustained the franchise for over three decades. LoanMart Field remains the beloved home of Inland Empire baseball, its intimate setting and family-friendly atmosphere drawing fans from across the San Bernardino County region.
