The St. Lucie Mets are the Single-A affiliate of the New York Mets, playing in the Florida State League at Clover Park in Port St. Lucie, Florida. Founded in 1988, the franchise has been affiliated with the New York Mets for its entire existence, making it one of the most stable parent-club relationships in minor league baseball.

Clover Park — originally built as Thomas J. White Stadium in 1988 and later known as Tradition Field — serves double duty as the spring training home of the New York Mets and the regular-season home of the St. Lucie Mets. The 7,000-seat facility underwent a $57 million renovation completed in 2020, modernizing the ballpark while preserving its connection to the Mets organization.

The franchise has won six Florida State League championships (1988, 1996, 1998, 2003, 2006, and 2022), beginning with a title in its inaugural season. The 2022 championship — a perfect 4-0 playoff run after posting the FSL's best regular-season record at 73-56 — ended a 16-year title drought and reinvigorated the franchise.

After back-to-back difficult seasons in 2023 and 2024, the 2025 team posted a dramatic turnaround with a 77-53 record, the best in the Florida State League. Under manager Luis Rivera, the St. Lucie Mets continue to serve as a vital development stop for New York's prospect pipeline on Florida's Treasure Coast.
