Lehigh Valley IronPigs

The Lehigh Valley IronPigs have been the Philadelphia Phillies' Triple-A affiliate since the franchise relocated from Ottawa, Ontario, to Allentown, Pennsylvania, for the 2008 season. The move brought Triple-A baseball to the Lehigh Valley for the first time and gave the Phillies a conveniently located development hub just 60 miles north of Citizens Bank Park.

Coca-Cola Park, which opened alongside the franchise in 2008, has been consistently ranked among the finest ballparks in minor league baseball. The 10,000-seat facility in downtown Allentown features modern amenities, excellent sightlines, and a lively atmosphere that routinely draws some of the highest attendance figures in the International League. The ballpark was a key catalyst for the redevelopment of Allentown's downtown district.

The IronPigs' quirky pork-themed identity — a nod to the region's iron and steel heritage where pig iron was a staple product — has proven to be a merchandising goldmine. The distinctive maroon-and-silver color scheme and playful branding have made IronPigs gear among the most popular in all of minor league baseball.

Manager Anthony Contreras returns for his fifth consecutive season in 2026, the longest managerial tenure in franchise history. The Phillies' pipeline has sent numerous stars through Allentown, including Rhys Hoskins, J.T. Realmuto (for rehab assignments), and many contributors to Philadelphia's 2022 National League pennant-winning roster. The franchise is privately owned and operated in partnership with the Phillies organization.
