Nashville Sounds

The Milwaukee Brewers' Triple-A affiliate, the Nashville Sounds play in Music City's First Horizon Park and boast one of the winningest managers in franchise history in Rick Sweet, who returns for his sixth consecutive season in 2026.

The Nashville Sounds are the Milwaukee Brewers' Triple-A affiliate, playing at First Horizon Park in the heart of one of America's fastest-growing cities. The franchise has been a part of Nashville's sports landscape since 1978, making it one of the longest-tenured professional sports franchises in Music City.

First Horizon Park, which opened in 2015 to replace aging Herschel Greer Stadium, is a 10,000-seat gem in the Germantown neighborhood of downtown Nashville. The ballpark's modern design, sweeping views of the Nashville skyline, and proximity to the city's booming restaurant and entertainment scene have made it one of the most popular venues in Triple-A baseball. Attendance has consistently ranked among the highest in the International League.

The Sounds have been affiliated with the Brewers since 2015, a partnership that has produced notable graduates including Keston Hiura, Freddy Peralta, and Willy Adames. Manager Rick Sweet returns for his sixth consecutive season in 2026 (seventh overall), having built a 484-379 record to become the club's all-time leader in managerial wins.

The franchise is owned by MFP Baseball, a group led by real estate investors Masahiro Honzawa and Frank Ward, who acquired the team in 2009. Previous affiliations include the Cincinnati Reds, Milwaukee Brewers (an earlier stint), Chicago White Sox, Minnesota Twins, Pittsburgh Pirates, and Oakland Athletics, reflecting the franchise's long and varied history in the PCL and now the International League.
