Reno Aces
The Arizona Diamondbacks' Triple-A affiliate since the franchise's 2009 inception, the Reno Aces play at Greater Nevada Field in downtown Reno, bringing Pacific Coast League baseball to the Biggest Little City in the World.
The Reno Aces are the Arizona Diamondbacks' Triple-A affiliate, playing at Greater Nevada Field in the heart of downtown Reno. The franchise relocated from Tucson after the 2008 season, where the team had operated as the Tucson Sidewinders, and began play in Reno in 2009 with a brand-new $40 million ballpark and a fresh identity.
Greater Nevada Field, which seats approximately 9,100 fans, provides a striking downtown setting with views of the Sierra Nevada mountains and the Reno skyline. The ballpark was a centerpiece of Reno's downtown revitalization efforts and has been home to both the Aces and Reno 1868 FC soccer club. The naming rights partnership with Greater Nevada Credit Union reflects the franchise's community roots.
The Aces have been exclusively affiliated with the Diamondbacks since their inception, making the partnership one of the more stable relationships in Triple-A baseball. Notable Diamondbacks who developed in Reno include Paul Goldschmidt, the 2022 NL MVP during his time with the Cardinals who first starred with Arizona; A.J. Pollock; and Ketel Marte.
Manager Jeff Gardner returns for his second season in 2026, his 13th year working within the Diamondbacks organization. The franchise is owned by SK Baseball, led by managing partner Stuart Katzoff, who brought Triple-A baseball to Reno and has maintained the franchise's position as a beloved part of the northern Nevada sports landscape.
