Principal Owner & Governor
Michael J. Alter has been the principal owner of the Chicago Sky since 2006, guiding the franchise through its 2014 WNBA Finals appearance and 2021 championship. The Sky remain one of the few independently owned WNBA franchises without NBA affiliation, and Forbes valued the team at $240 million in late 2025.
Co-Owner & Chairman
Nadia Rawlinson joined the Sky ownership group as co-owner and chairman, bringing extensive corporate leadership experience. She works alongside Michael Alter to guide the franchise's strategic vision and growth during a period of rapid WNBA expansion.
