Herb Simon, founder of Simon Property Group and owner of the NBA's Indiana Pacers, has owned the Indiana Fever since the franchise's inception in 2000 through Pacers Sports & Entertainment. Under his stewardship, the Fever won the 2012 WNBA championship and have remained a cornerstone of professional basketball in Indiana.
