Historical Figures
Former Chairman & Stadium Owner
Firoz Kassam was the controversial chairman who oversaw the construction of the Kassam Stadium but retained personal ownership of the ground when he sold the club. His legacy remains divisive: the stadium gave Oxford a modern home but the club's inability to own it has been a persistent handicap. Kassam continues to own the stadium and lease it to the club.
