Austin FC
Weirdness codified into a sporting identity - Austin FC brought MLS to the live-music capital of the world and discovered a city that was already waiting in the stands, verde scarves draped over sunburned shoulders, ready to make professional soccer feel like a Saturday night on Sixth Street.
Current Leadership
Owner & CEO
Anthony Precourt, founder of Precourt Sports Ventures, launched Austin FC after relocating his MLS interests from Columbus. He secured the expansion franchise in 2019 and oversaw construction of Q2 Stadium, which opened in 2021. Precourt has positioned Austin FC as a community-driven club in one of MLS's fastest-growing markets.
Minority Investor
Two Oak Ventures, an Austin-based investment group, joined the Austin FC ownership consortium as a minority partner. The group has helped deepen the club's connections within the Austin business community and tech sector.

Historical Figures
Former Columbus Crew Owner
Before founding Austin FC, Anthony Precourt's PSV owned the Columbus Crew from 2013 to 2018. The controversial attempt to relocate the Crew to Austin led to the Save The Crew movement and ultimately resulted in a separate ownership group purchasing the Crew while Precourt received a new expansion franchise in Austin.
