Jorge Mas, co-founder of MasTec, one of the largest infrastructure companies in the United States, serves as Inter Miami's managing owner. Together with his brother Jose, Jorge led the effort to secure land for the club's Miami Freedom Park stadium and training complex, which is set to become one of the premier soccer facilities in North America.

David Beckham, the global soccer icon and former England captain, exercised an MLS expansion option included in his original LA Galaxy contract to bring a franchise to Miami. Beckham's star power and global connections have attracted world-class talent to Inter Miami, including Lionel Messi, Sergio Busquets, and Luis Suarez.
