After a season as the Utah Hockey Club, the franchise officially rebranded as the Utah Mammoth in May 2025. New name, new logos, same young core led by Logan Cooley and Dylan Guenther. The identity is finally set — now it's about winning.
Utah acquired MacKenzie Weegar from Calgary at the deadline, adding a proven top-four defenseman to a roster that desperately needed blue-line help. The Mammoth are chasing their first playoff berth in franchise history — and the first for this roster since the Arizona days in 2020.
With an upgraded Delta Center and a new practice facility, the on-ice product is catching up to the off-ice enthusiasm. Utah finished 38-31-13 in their inaugural season and is pushing for more this year. The fanbase has shown up in a big way, and the franchise is determined to reward them with postseason hockey.
