Historical Figures

Atlanta Spirit LLC

Former Owner (Atlanta Thrashers)

2003–2011

Atlanta Spirit LLC owned the Atlanta Thrashers from 2003 until selling the franchise to True North in 2011. Internal ownership disputes, a struggling arena deal, and poor on-ice performance led to declining attendance and ultimately the decision to sell the team, which was relocated to Winnipeg and rebranded as the Jets.
