The Visalia Rawhide are the Single-A affiliate of the Arizona Diamondbacks, playing in the California League at Valley Strong Ballpark in Visalia, California. Professional baseball in Visalia dates to 1946, and the franchise has operated under nine different names reflecting its many major league affiliations, including the Cubs, Mets, Oaks, Twins, Rockies, A's, Rays, and Diamondbacks.

Valley Strong Ballpark opened in 1946 as Recreation Park, making it one of the oldest continuously operating minor league venues in the country. The ballpark has been renovated multiple times over the decades, and Valley Strong Credit Union acquired the naming rights in April 2021. The intimate setting in California's Central Valley provides a classic minor league atmosphere.

The franchise adopted the Rawhide identity in 2009, paying homage to the region's ranching heritage. Three California League championships (1971, 1978, and 2019) span different eras and affiliations, with the 2019 title — won under the Diamondbacks banner with an 83-53 record — representing the franchise's most recent on-field peak.

In December 2025, OnDeck Partners — a new sports ownership group within the Avenue Sports Fund led by Marc Lasry — acquired the Rawhide, bringing fresh investment to the franchise. Under returning manager Dee Garner, the Rawhide enter 2026 with new ownership and an experienced coaching staff as they continue developing Arizona's next wave of talent in the San Joaquin Valley.
