Al-Hazem FC
Newly promoted from the Qassim region, Al-Hazem bring gritty determination and small-city pride to their eleventh season in the Saudi Pro League.
Al-Hazem FC hail from Ar Rass in the Qassim Province, a heartland city in central Saudi Arabia. Founded in 1957, the club have been a yo-yo presence in the Saudi Pro League, earning promotion on multiple occasions and competing in the top flight for ten previous seasons before returning via the 2025 promotion playoffs.
The club's identity is rooted in the Qassim region's sporting culture. Ar Rass is a city of approximately 130,000 people, and Al-Hazem serve as its primary sporting institution, drawing passionate support from the local community. Their red and gold colors are a familiar sight in the Qassim sporting landscape.
For the 2025-26 season — their eleventh in the top flight — Tunisian manager Jalel Kadri leads the side. Kadri, who previously coached Tunisia's national team, brings international experience to a club focused on survival in an increasingly competitive league. Al-Hazem secured promotion by defeating Al-Adalah 3-0 in the promotion playoff final in May 2025.
Al-Hazem's challenge is familiar: stay competitive in a league where the financial gap between the biggest and smallest clubs grows wider each season. But the club's history of bouncing back from relegation suggests they possess the resilience needed for another top-flight campaign.
