Golden State Valkyries

The Golden State Valkyries are the WNBA's newest franchise, launched in 2025 as the league's first expansion team since the Atlanta Dream in 2008. Owned by Joe Lacob and Peter Guber - the same group that owns the NBA's Golden State Warriors - the Valkyries play at Chase Center in San Francisco and benefit from the Warriors' world-class infrastructure, front office expertise, and brand recognition.
